Congratulations! How long did you wait for delivery? pics now!

Looks like the floor mats were not the problem over at Toyota, and so I have to ask the stupid question:

What is the emergency shut-off procedure for a keyless push-to-start Acura?

^I know in my uncles Mercedes E-Class all you have to do is push the button to stop the engine; of course in neutral only. I'm curious myself in the new Acuras.

...wasn't the Toyota recall something to do with sticking accelerator pedals? Tsk Tsk as I see more and more Camry's on the side of the road compared to yesteryear when you never see such sights

I hope it isn't anything like: "Hold the button down for three seconds", that could add quite a bit of speed.

I see it comes with run-flat tires, that answers my second stupid question.

So the ZDX sales are 79 in December and 172 in January for a total of 251? That seems pretty low. If you look at the current VIN numbers, there seem to have been at least 900+ made so far. But maybe some have been shipped to other countries. There are probably about 250 or more in current inventory around the US. Dealers havee mentioned that Acura plans to build around 6,000 to 10,000 cars. I wonder whether Acura will be offering any incentive financing over the next few months if sales remain pretty slow.

Is that combined US & Canada?

Dealers & dealerships will always say what we want to hear. I can't trust them.
Car sales are economic indicators and 172 is lousy...I wonder how the RL did in comparison.

The figures are from American Honda, the ZDX is listed among the trucks.

RL sales were down to 110, from 208 in January 2009, -42.7%.

Crosstour sales were 1,737 for January.

The MDX was the Acura's best-selling vehicle with 2,358 units sold, up 20.3 percent.

I hope this hangs in there without much of a price increase. I'm likely replacing my G35 in 2 yrs or so, and I like the flexibility and uniqueness of this ride. I know I'll be giving up some driving excitement, but the ZDX will still have enough "stuff" to keep me interested. And yes, I already own an MDX.

I have a G35 Coupe and while the ZDX is not entirely a sports car, it is fun to drive on a twisty road, seats are excellent, and had a nice exhaust sound during my test drive.

I just saw an Accord Crosstour almost mistook it for a ZDX.

I've not yet seen either in person. I have seen them in print and Comp. and do see some similarities.

But I think it ends there. There are a bunch of differences between these 2. Maybe the casual looker won't see it, but it will end there.
There is a bigger diff here then when the MDX came out in 01 and then the Pilot came later. The ZDX is very different from the crosstour.
