Red face Official release date?
Anyone know when the official release date is? I went to Acura yesterday just to have a look around at the 09 models...well, to look at an MDX really but i asked a salesman and he replied, "We're the last to know."

Yeah, my sister went to Honda lookng for a new Insight. The salesman said they had them in but he couldn't sell her one because at the time, they hadn't been officially released yet.

Looks like someone's sister got the song and dance. LOL stealerships love selling waht isn't nailed down. funny story someone actually tried to sell my GTO (with plates still on it) carrying on how I wanted to step into something with more power...

Hopefully the ZDX is worth the hype.

Salesman:

"Well, we received our 1st ZDX yesterday. Our GM loaded it up with around $2,300 worth of accessories. Have to admit, it looked damn good. Notice the past tense?? It took all of 2 hours after receiving it for someone from over 3 hours away to come in and purchase it. Without driving it 1st!! Now we have to wait another 30-45 days until we receive another one. So all the people we called yesterday to come and see it are out of luck until then. Acura should really bring more to the dealers than just 1 or 2. These cars will sell well at 1st. Who knows if it has staying power though."
